Product Description
Instructions
1. Place the large propane tank in the sun for at least 2 hours and the 1 lb propane cylinder in the freezer for at least 30 minutes (this step is crucial).
2. Ensure the valve on the large propane tank is closed, then connect the black end of the adapter hose to the tank.
3. Open the red control valve briefly, then close it (this allows gas flow momentarily due to overflow protection).
4. Screw the 1 lb tank clockwise into the adapter hose.
5. Invert the large tank.
6. Slightly open the valve on the large tank (just a little; if it's hard to reach, tip the tank back to access the BBQ valve).
7. Allow about 10-15 minutes for filling (it may take longer occasionally). You can control the process with the red control valve.
8. Close the BBQ valve and remove the 1 lb cylinder. Your 1 lb cylinder is now ready for use!

Troubleshooting:
Not receiving a full refill? It may take longer to fill your tank.
Before your second attempt, be sure to repeat step 1 from the instructions.
If the refill>30 minutes, the adapter valve will automatically halt gas flow to prevent overfilling.
If it's still not working, fully open the BBQ valve and follow the steps above.
Refilling 1 lb tanks typically achieves a maximum of 80-90% capacity.
Propane tanks are never completely filled to allow for heat expansion.
